3 Incredible Hotels Near the Sphere Las Vegas for Families
1. The Venetian Resort
The Venetian is one of the top luxury hotels near The Sphere Las Vegas, offering stunning views of The Sphere directly from your window. It is conveniently located just 0.4 miles from The Sphere and the two are connected! This makes it an ideal choice for those seeking luxury and convenience.
The Venetian has the most spacious suites, (some even have multiple bathrooms), which is a plus for families. The Premier Suites start at over 900 square feet, and the standard suites are the largest on the Strip.
For dining and entertainment, the Venetian does not disappoint. Below are some recommended activities and restaurants that our family loved.
The year-round heated pools at the Venetian have been recently renovated and cover over two acres. With three infinity pools, it’s the perfect place to unwind and spend an afternoon (or two).
You can reserve a cabana or daybed online or stop by for brunch at the Spritz Restaurant & Bar (located at the Venetian pool deck).
Overall, the Venetian stands out among the hotels near the Sphere Las Vegas for its exceptional amenities and location and takes first place on my list of hotels. Keep in mind, if you want the room with the view of the Sphere, it’ll cost extra at booking.
Restaurants
As for dining recommendations, I would suggest Yardbird for fried chicken and traditional Southern food and “Bouchon at The Venetian” for a more upscale French-style dining experience.
If you have a sweet tooth and want to treat your kiddos, don’t miss out on the Instagram-famous CrazyShakes at Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer.
Childcare
The Venetian doesn’t offer in-house childcare, however, the staff can assist in arranging local services if needed.
3 Activities to Check Out at the Venetian
- Gondola Ride: Take a gondola ride along the Grand Canal with a serenading gondolier.
- Family-Friendly Pools: The Venetian is one of the most kid-friendly pools in Las Vegas. They have multiple pools, a splash pad, private cabanas, and a special family package featuring build-your-own Dole Whip and towel origami.
- Madame Tussauds: Explore the interactive wax museum located right on the hotel property for a fun activity.

2. Encore and Wynn Las Vegas
If you’re looking for another luxurious option of hotels near the Sphere Las Vegas, consider the Wynn and its sister property, the Encore Resort. Both resorts have received Forbes Five Star ratings and offer elegance, comfort, and exceptional service. They are only 0.4-0.6 miles from the Sphere.
The rooms at the Encore Resort are spacious at 745 square feet with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip, the pool, or downtown.
The living and sleeping areas are separated, which is perfect for families, couples, or anyone who simply loves having extra space. The resort also offers high-end amenities which include a golf course, if you’re into that kind of thing!
Restaurants
For a fantastic buffet experience, go to the one at the Wynn Hotel. It’s truly one of a kind, offering over 90 dishes to satisfy all tastes. My absolute favorite is the crab legs, but the sixteen live-action cooking stations ensure there’s something everyone will enjoy.
For a more upscale experience, visit Sinatra. It’s an Italian-style restaurant with the best food, service, and atmosphere. It pays tribute to Frank Sinatra.
Jardin is also an amazing choice.
Poolside: check out Terrace Point Cafe for a quick bite.
Childcare
The Wynn and Encore hotels do not offer in-hotel childcare services. However, you can bring your own help, such as a nanny or family members, to assist with childcare. Additionally, there are local companies in Las Vegas that provide in-room babysitting and nanny services.
While I haven’t personally used these services, you can find more information and use their website to make arrangements during your stay.
3 Activities to Check Out at the Encore and Wynn Hotels in Las Vegas
- Encore Spa: Indulge in rejuvenating treatments and therapies in the most serene and luxurious setting.

- Encore Restaurants: Check out some of the most delicious cuisines.
- Encore Pool: Spend the day at the beautifully designed pool area, perfect for relaxation and enjoyment with family and friends, or check out the family-friendly pool option at the Wynn Hotel.
General Info on Encore and Wynn Hotels
- Address: 3121 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
- Distance to the sphere: 0.6 miles

- Family-friendly? Not really. While Encore and Wynn can accommodate families with children and offers some amenities that kids will enjoy, it is not specifically designed as a family resort and there are better options both on and off the strip. Venetian was more family-friendly in my opinion.

3. Bellagio
If you’re searching for more hotels near the Sphere Las Vegas, the Bellagio is another excellent choice. It is a 5-star hotel known for its stunning design, high-end dining, and the iconic Bellagio fountain show! The rooms definitely surpassed my expectations, and give such a luxurious vibe.
The Bellagio is about a mile from the Sphere, and it would take 10-15 minutes to walk there. It’s located the furthest from the Sphere out of the hotels mentioned in this post. That said, taking an Uber or a taxi is also an option.
With its prime location, guests can easily enjoy both the resort’s amenities and the Sphere’s unique events. For these reasons, the Bellagio stands out and is one of the prime hotels near the Sphere Las Vegas.
Restaurants
A few options restaurants we enjoyed were:
- The buffet at Bellagio: is for those who enjoy dishes from all over the world.
- LAGO by Julian Serrano for an elevated Italian dining experience with a fountain view.
To see the full list of dining options check out their website.
Childcare
Childcare is not offered.
3 Activities to Check Out at the Bellagio
Bellagio is one of the best-rated hotels located near the Sphere Las Vegas. Here are three activities that are worth checking out!

1. Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens: are beautiful indoor gardens that change with the seasons. We enjoyed walking around and seeing all the different displays of flowers, plants, and sculptures. PS: it’s free, and is a fantastic spot for capturing beautiful pictures!
2. Bellagio Patisserie: Next to the botanical gardens, there’s a bakery that offers a delightful selection of French pastries and treats. This place is also home to the world’s largest chocolate fountain!
This impressive sculpture stands from floor to ceiling and circulates over 2,100 pounds of melted milk, dark, and white chocolate through 500 feet of pipes around the clock. It’s worth checking out!
3. Fountains of Bellagio: add this iconic fountain show of over a thousand fountains to your list of things to see at the Bellagio. The fountains dance to music and create the most spectacular display of water and light. Shows run frequently (either every 15 or 30 minutes) throughout the day and night, and it’s free to watch from various points along the Strip. We found a great spot in the shade and still had an amazing view and show!

General Bellagio Info
- Address: 3600 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
- Distance to the sphere: 1 mile
- Family-friendly? No. We had to walk through the smoky casino area with our kids to get to Louis Vuitton and other shops. However, the rest of the hotel wasn’t smoky, and we enjoyed a few activities it offered (mentioned above). My children, aged 3 and 5, had a great time.
- Besides the Cirque de Soleil show, which is absolutely amazing, there weren’t many other attractions for kids and families, so I don’t think it’s family-oriented. Plus, the Cirque de Soleil is for children 5 years and older.

In Conclusion
Finding the best hotels near the Sphere Las Vegas will make your visit more enjoyable especially if you plan on attending events or concerts! The closest one is the Venetian Resort, and it is connected to the Sphere, making it number one on my recommended list.

The Wynn, the Encore, and Bellagio hotels offer top-notch accommodations and are within a mile of the Sphere. I’d recommend staying close enough to walk to the Sphere and not worry about parking and Uber.
Parking at Bellagio, for example, is $23 a day and can add up quickly. Just something to consider.
If traveling with families and small children, do keep in mind that these hotels don’t have childcare and to me, weren’t the most family-friendly options out there. Much better resorts are available on and off the strip that offer more entertainment for littles.
I hope this helps you decide where to stay, as these are my favorite and the best hotels near the Sphere Las Vegas!
